If a resident with intellectual disabilities requires hospitalization due to illness based on doctor’s diagnosis, care must be provided by dedicated personnel. Since the staff of our Institution is limited, we need family members to come to the hospital to provide care. If there is difficulty in individual cases, the hospital may contact caring personnel on their behalf. However, the family in question must bear half of the daily caring expenses required.
